Douglas A. Lewis JD Ph.D Au.D MBA is an accomplished and experienced professional whose contributions to the fields of audiovestibular and neuroscience services have made a substantial impact.
As the owner of Patriot Audiology Services, Dr. Lewis has built a reputation for providing comprehensive and personalized audiology services to his patients. He has also trained and educated others in the field, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Ohio University, an instructor for the Tinnitus Care Practitioner Course, and a member of the Managed Care and Compliance Committees.
Dr. Lewis is a Board-Certified Audiologist and currently serves as the Board Chair of the International Institute of Hearing Instruments Sciences. He is also a member of several other professional organizations, including the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and the International Hearing Society. In addition to his audiological achievements, Dr. Lewis is also a practicing lawyer!
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Lewis is actively involved in his community. He serves on the Wapakoneta Chamber of Commerce board and is affiliated with the Returning American Warriors Veteran Services Organization.
In his spare time, Dr. Lewis indulges in his love for music and motorcycles. He is an accomplished musician and a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys exploring the open road whenever he can.
Erin Bowerstock is a Hearing Aid Specialist at Patriot Audiology Services who is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life.
With over twenty years of experience in the field, Erin’s focus on patient care and delivering results has earned her a reputation for excellence in the community. Her specialized knowledge of hearing aid fitting ensures that each patient receives a customized solution to their unique hearing needs.
Beyond her work, Erin is a free spirit and a lover of life. She is the founder and owner of her own custom riding accessory company, which makes motorcycle riding accessories from genuine leather and Swarovski crystal. When not helping her community with their hearing health, she’s traveling to neighboring cities, and even states, to provide quality accessories to riders from around the country.
Her drive and passion add to her well-rounded nature and commitment to living life to the fullest. Erin’s dedication to her patients and her community make her an invaluable member of the Patriot Hearing team.
Janet Darst is a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) with an extensive background in the field of Audiology since 2008.
As a compassionate and skilled professional, she has been providing exceptional care to patients throughout her career. Coming from a proud military family, Janet’s commitment to service extends beyond her work as both her sons are actively serving in the armed forces.
In her free time, Janet is passionate about dogs and enjoys exploring the great outdoors in her beloved Jeep. With her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication, Janet strives to deliver the highest quality of care to every patient she encounters.
